Burmese Tea Leaf Salad Recipe

Thought I’d share the recipe for my favorite Burmese dish. Its easy to make (though I imagine finding pickled tea leaves will be an issue for some…) and quite tasty.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cabbage (shredded)
  • 1 small tomato
  • 3 tablespoons pickled burmese tea leaves
  • 1 cup fried mix nuts
  • 2 tablespoons oil (no…this is not the world’s healthiest salad)
  1. Cut center out of tomato and sliver.
  2. Mix together all ingredients.
  3. Yeah, its really easy.
